Spurgeon Vineyards & Winery

Spurgeon Vineyards & Winery is a family owned and operated winery. Glen and Mary Spurgeon established their winery in 1977. At that time that they purchased an 80-acre farm from Mary's parents. The following year Glen and Mary planted five acres of grapes and eventually boosted that to 16 acres of grapes. In 1981, they produced their first wine.
Currently the Spurgeons are producing nearly 25,000 gallons of wine. Their line of wine ranges from dry grape wines to semi-sweet grape wines, as well as sweet grape, fruit and mead (honey) wines. Spurgeon Vineyards is the proud home of Ruby Lady. You are invited to visit Spurgeon Vineyards for a free sampling of their wines. You are also welcome to hike to the hilltops to view the vineyards, tour the winery, browse their gift & cheese shop and enjoy their covered deck (carry-in lunches are allowed).
